Lebanon Wetland is Key for Wildlife

As intensive development occurs along the busy Route 120 corridor, planners in Lebanon have teamed up with UVLT in an effort to conserve wildlife habitat and linkages used by mammals and amphibians in the area. Earlier this month, UVLT conserved a 29-acre wetland adjacent to the Timberwood Commons housing complex. The City's Natural Resource Inventory ranks the Mount Support Road Wetland Area as the fifth most important Significant Ecological Area in Lebanon. Read more about the project here.

UVLT Hosts Over 30 Conservation Commissioners at Annual Gathering

This month conservation commissioners from 20 Upper Valley towns came together at our Annual Gathering.  Discussion focused on community attitudes and values toward open space and new federal rules regarding public access.

Paddle the Border

Sunday May 19, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Come celebrate the river that unites the communities of the Upper Valley at the 10th annual spring Paddle the Border!

UVLT is looking for a few volunteers to assist with put ins at the Woodsville fields (we'll paddle afterwards, too!). We'll also be staffingHarkdale campsite as a rest stop along the way.  Just follow the music, which will be provided by UVLT's VP of Stewardship Pete Helm and friends!
