Stories from Home: An Afternoon of Family Fun with Natalie Kinsey-Warnock Saturday, November 14, 1 - 3:30pm Daniel Webster Room, The Hanover Inn at Darthmouth College, Hanover, NH The Hanover Inn at Dartmouth College, Everybody Wins! Vermont (EW!VT), and the Upper Valley Land Trust will host a presentation by Natalie Kinsey-Warnock, an award-winning children's author from the Northeast Kingdom region of Vermont. The event is free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $5 per family. Kinsey-Warnock's two loves, land and reading, are the themes running through the November 14 event. The program will include a presentation for all-ages and book signing by Kinsey-Warnock, a family tree craft activity for children, door prices, and snacks made from fresh, local ingredients provided by The Hanover Inn at Dartmouth College. In addition, the Norwich Bookstore will be on-hand with a selection of Kinsey-Warnock's books available for purchase. UVLT welcomes Chris Lang to our board! Chris returned to the Upper Valley with his family six years ago after living in Manhattan for six years (working in the non-editorial functions of magazine publishing: advertising sales, circulation & business management) and Chicago for eight (an MBA from Kellogg, management consulting at Accenture and .com investing with Aptura Technologies). Chris lives in Hartford, Vermont with his wife Carol, and their three sons. In 2007, the Langs conserved 30 acres in the Jericho area of Hartford with UVLT. Welcome aboard, Chris! Order your Bicknell Brook puzzle by November 20th for holiday delivery! UVLT has partnered with Jim Block, a local nature photographer, and David Beffa-Negrini, a puzzle-maker for Fools Gold Puzzles to produce puzzles this holiday season. You can choose one of four of Jim Block's images of the UVLT protected Bicknell Brook Trail area in Enfield to be made into a handcrafted wooden puzzle.
