Deer Management in NH: UVLT’s Comments

UVLT has submitted comment to New Hampshire Fish and Game regarding their proposed ten-year game management plan. We’ve urged a more integrated approach to setting population targets for white-tailed deer and asked that habitat quality for all species be considered. An open house will be held at Fish and Game Headquarters in Concord on April 22, 2015.  This public event will facilitate dialogue between species biologists and the public on revised draft species plans that will eventually be presented to the Executive Director and Commissioners of the Fish and Game Department.
