Bear Pond Snowshoe 2025

Join the UVLT staff and members of the Canaan Conservation Commission for our Annual Bear Pond Snowshoe! We’ll embark on a scenic hike to the pond (3-4 hours roundtrip) and immerse ourselves in its breathtaking winter beauty. Along the way, we’ll be treated to stunning views of the frozen pond, and to top it off, we’ll enjoy some delicious hot chocolate. Be sure to bring layers, water, and snacks to keep comfortable. Traction is recommended—snowshoes or microspikes, depending on the weather. Don’t miss out on this winter adventure!
**Meeting location will depend on weather conditions at the trailheads, and will be determined closer to the date.
