We’ll be hiking a newly opened section of trail to an extraordinary lookout point, offering breathtaking southern views of Holt’s Ledge, Ascutney, Velvet Rocks, Lyme Pinnacle, Lyme Hill, and even Killington and Pico to the southwest.
Join the UVLT staff and members of the Canaan Conservation Commission for our Annual Bear Pond Snowshoe! We'll embark on a scenic hike to the pond (3-4 hours roundtrip) and immerse ourselves in its breathtaking winter beauty.

This month, we're headed to Lyme Hill Conservation Area for some Connecticut River-adjacent tracking - and there have been recent sightings of otter tracks (slides!) in the area, so we're getting excited!

Join Upper Valley Land Trust staff and the Lebanon Conservation Commission for a short ‘Wild About Lebanon’ hike on Starr Hill to find some signs of Spring!
Join UVLT and Enfield Shaker Museum for a hike to Smith Pond! Hikers will meet at the UVLT trailhead off Route 4A at 9:30 am for a brief introduction and begin the hike at 10:00 am. The route follows the UVLT trail with a side spur to the waterfall. While the hike is moderately difficult, hikers can choose to follow the gentler canal route and turn back when the terrain gets steeper.
