Six Weeks Shapes the Future
Between Thanksgiving and News Year’s last year, UVLT joined with landowner Ed Chamberlain and friends and neighbors in Hanover Center and beyond to conserve Ed’s Alswell Farm. In only six weeks, funds were raised to conserve this marvelous place forever. Â This beautiful video by Dartmouth students Dan Magoon, Charlotte Berkowitz, Maeve Lentricchia and Eli Brewster celebrates Alswell Farm and the people determined to conserve it.
This year finds us working with community groups in Pomfret and Thetford on similar conservation campaigns. With only a few weeks left before year end, people are coming together  to secure places that will offer beauty, restoration, sustenance and joy for years to come. What can be done in six weeks?
