Introducing Our Newest Trustees
UVLT is proud to announce two new Trustees to its Board, Christie Hedges (Orford, NH), and Gordon Richardson (Hartland, VT).
Both Christie and Gordon bring immense experience and passion for land conservation to the Board, including having personally overseen conservation efforts of their own lands with UVLT.
In 2021, Christie and her husband Bob conserved 268 acres on Stonehouse Mountain in Orford with plans to develop a trail system for others to enjoy. Christie’s love of the outdoors began as a child, hiking and skiing in New Hampshire. She recently achieved her goal of summiting all forty-eight 4,000’ mountains in New Hampshire, and is now working on the “52 with a View.”
For Gordon, becoming a UVLT Trustee is a family legacy, with his wife Pat preceding him with seven years on the Board, 3 of those as chair. His family has supported UVLT for at least 30 years, and completed three separate conservation easements. His lived experience as a third generation dairy farmer, operating the Richardson Farm in Hartland, VT, brings authentic value and respect of our lands.
Their unique perspectives will add incredible value to an already impressive team, and further ensure the success of UVLT’s efforts.
