End of Season Cleanup at Up on the Hill Food Pantry Garden!

As we approach the end of the growing season at UVLT’s Food Pantry Garden at Up on the Hill Conservation Area, it’s time to prepare the garden for winter. After a successful season, we need your helping hands to wrap up our final harvests, clear out old plants and weeds, and ready the soil for next year!
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and suitable gardening shoes. Bring along water, snacks, sun protection, and bug repellent. We’ll provide all necessary gardening tools, and gloves will be available for those who need them. To join us, please register through the link below.
**Directions: Take Route 12 in Charlestown to Morningside Lane or Chestnut Flats Rd, then turn right onto Morningside Lane. Next, take a left onto Richardson Rd. Follow the dirt road to the top of the hill, where you’ll find a kiosk. Turn right at the kiosk, continue down the dirt road past the metal gate, and park across from the cornfield. We can’t wait to see you there!
