We will be co-hosting a hike up Stonehouse Mountain with the Orford Conservation Commission. Please join us to experience Stonehouse’s old growth Red Pine/ Red Spruce summit forest and views out over the Connecticut River Valley. The hike will be approximately two miles long and will gain 800 feet of elevation.
Parking will be at the trailhead and roadside along Stonehouse Summit Road. Please bring traction, snowshoes, and winter clothing.
The trailhead parking area is on Stonehouse Summit Road, located approximately 0.2 miles from Upper Stonehouse Mountain Road on the left. Overflow parking will be along the side of Stonehouse Summit Road.
