Wild About Lebanon!

New Year – New Wild About Lebanon schedule!

Our 2020 Winter/Spring calendar is now posted online. A printable flyer with the detailed schedule can be found here and the 2020 brochure can be found here.

Lebanon is a thriving small city with a big outdoors. ‘Wild About Lebanon’ puts the spotlight on what makes the City so special. The Upper Valley Land Trust and the City of Lebanon have brought back a popular program that celebrates the City’s natural assets.

The program’s roots go back fifteen years. In 2003, volunteer Nicole Cormen initiated a program of outdoor events around Lebanon, NH to acquaint people with Lebanon’s beautiful and varied conserved public lands. She created Wild About Lebanon to showcase the importance of open space, and encourage
all Lebanon residents to visit these properties and learn about the natural world right outside their doors.

The Upper Valley Land Trust and the City of Lebanon Conservation Program have joined together to revitalize the program Cormen started. The Wild About Lebanon series features a variety of City owned and privately owned, conserved land within the city limits. We’ve planned a wide range of activities for everyone from children to adults.
