Herricks Cove in Rockingham, VT, is one of the premier birding sites in the Upper Valley, and UVLT is leading two bird walks at the Herricks Cover Wildlife Festival this year!
Naturalist and Outdoor Program Leader Holly Henderson will lead a Bird Walk for Kids at 10:30 am and a Bird Walk for Beginners at 12:30 pm. All experience levels are welcome to join! Directions to Herricks Cove: From the North, take Exit 6 off I-91 and bear right off the ramp onto Rt. 103 south. Follow 103 to its junction with Rt. 5 (103 ends there) and turn left on to Rt. 5 north. After descending the hill and crossing the Williams River, take the first road to the right (Herricks Cove Rd.). Watch for event signs.
