Join Upper Valley Land Trust and the Hartford Conservation Commission as we seek out blooming woodland wildflowers along the Hazen trail in Wilder. During this peak wildflower season, expect to get a close look at natives such as bloodroot, wood anemone, mayflower, yellow trout lily, hepatica, and red trillium. Along the way, Naturalist and Outdoor Program Leader Holly Henderson will share interesting flower facts and identification tips.
We will meet at the Hazen Trailhead at Maanawaka Conservation Area in Wilder, VT. Please wear study boots suitable for mud and expect to walk approximately 1.5 miles. We love dogs, but please leave them at home. Space is limited to 20 participants, so sign up today!
Directions: Starting from Depot St. in Wilder, travel approximately 0.6 miles north on Route 5 and look for the trailhead parking area on your right. If you go under I-91 you have gone too far.
