Join us Sunday, October 2nd for Paddle the Border!
Paddle the Border (PTB) was started as a way for community organizations from Vermont and New Hampshire to work together to “showcase” our shared asset, the Connecticut River. Now in it’s 19th year, this UVLT sponsored event promotes the natural, cultural, scenic and recreational resources of the Connecticut River. PTB is held twice a year weather permitting-no rain dates are planned. So come, meet new friends and fellow paddlers, and join the fun!
The Fall Paddle will go from the Newbury Boat Launch beside the Newbury-Haverhill Bridge, to the Bugbee landing in Bradford, Vermont.
- There is a shuttle service provided by the Butler Bus Company from the take out to the launch sight from 10am to11am. The approximate paddle time for the paddle is 3-1/2 to 4 hours;
- All events are weather permitting, and all participants must abide by safe boating rules andregulation; and,
- BBQ Lunch provided by the Cohase Rotary Club with music by Strawberry Farm Band!
