Lumber for trail improvements at Lyme Hill

Visitors to the Lyme Hill Conservation Area may have seen materials stockpiled at the perimeter of our parking area. Approximately 600 feet of trail, from the trailhead to the first major stream crossing, will be upgraded to meet accessibility standards. Improvements include the replacement of two existing bridges.  We’ve hired the Upper Valley Trails Alliance to implement these changes, and their work crews and equipment will be on site several days this summer. The first planned workday is July 5th.

We’ll post updates here so that you can know what to expect when you visit UVLT’s trails at Lyme Hill.

Thank you to everyone who has made donations to help us pay for the materials and labor to create trails that are accessible for all to enjoy!
